Notch Technologies is developing metamaterial solutions that enable antennas to be electronically controlled for beamforming and boosting communication ranges while simultaneously providing cyber-security protection. I came on as a contract circuit designer and prototype engineer in August, 2020.

  • Notch was working to meet an upcoming client deadline and needed one new PCB designed as well as two others redesigned, tested, and installed.
  • My Work
  • I worked largely independently on this project, taking loose specifications and translating them into circuit board designs. I then helped installed the new PCBs and build the prototype system.
Operating on a short timeline, my focus was on delivering simple, reliable designs that would work on the first iteration with a minimum of technical risk.
